The Park Vanderbilt Cooperative is located at 651 Vanderbilt Street in the Windsor Terrace neighborhood of Brooklyn.  It is a cooperative apartment house consisting of 149 units: studios, one and two bedroom apartments with a deep landscaped front garden and a rear garden. The building is 100% owner occupied and verified by all major banks to receive financing.

The building was constructed in 1963 as a Mitchell Lama middle income rental building and converted in 1971 to a cooperative. The land was originally owned by John Vanderbilt, a farmer, in the first half of the 19th Century.  Two large houses, the first on this block, were constructed on the site in the early 1900 and subsequent houses were built in the 1930’s when the subway lines were to be constructed.
